C-burner
cabinet type smokers
This is the front end of the pan, showing the gas stem assembly attached to the pan.  The gas jet on the opposite side of the pan holds it in place.  The gas hose connects up to the brass male flare fitting under the bottom of the Frig.  The vent holes have a dual function.  They let in fresh air for the burner, and in the (rare) event the burner flame goes out, the gas can escape through the bottom of the Frig.  Propane is heavier than air, and will settle to the bottom.  Natural gas is a little harder to predict... The important thing in any is to not let the Frig. fill up with gas!
